Mission Complete!

I got the pears canned! ALL FIFTY-ONE JARS!

Well, I didn't do it all. My sis in law and her friend came over to learn to can. So between the three of us we peeled, cut and cored enough pears to fill fifty-one quart mason jars. It only took us 7ish hours!

Good thing we love to eat pears!

And coming up Oct. 3rd, I'm going to my parents place in Eastern Washington to make and can grape juice, as well as my mom's infamous pepper jam!

Good thing canning time comes only once a year! :)
